Miriam is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Miriam is a graduate from the University of Waterloo, having achieved her Bachelor of Arts (2015) and Bachelor of Social Work (2016). 

Miriam has been working in the mental health field for 7 years with experience in different areas of Social Work such as: case management, children’s mental health, perinatal mental health, homelessness and housing, research and data evaluation, program development, group facilitation and clinical assessments.

 Miriam takes pride in her ability to build rapport with those around her and being flexible to change. She is passionate about making mental health programs accessible to everyone, which is one of the many reasons why she is working within the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program. 

Prior to starting at CarePoint Health, Miriam worked for The Centre for Family Medicine in Kitchener, Ontario, completing intakes and system navigation.
